New Zealand Go 1-0 Up With Easy Win Over Pakistan
New Zealand vs Pakistan 1st T20 Highlights: New Zealand won the first match of the Nz vs Pak three-match T20 series after defeating Pakistan 5-0 in the ODI series. Munro guided New Zealand in the chase, playing the unfamiliar role to help the New Zealand over the line in the 16th over, securing a 1-0 lead in the New Zealand vs Pakistan 3 T20 Series.
Pakistan’s Poor Batting
New Zealand Kane Williamson replaces Tim Southee, gave Pakistan to bat first before winning the toss. A Pakistani batsman could not stick to Wellington’s fast pitch. New Zealand pacemen blew away Pakistan’s four wickets in the power play. Fakhar Zaman (3), Umar Amin (0), Mohammad Nawaz (7) and Haris Sohail (9) were dismissed. Babar Azam, on some occasions, kept on the wicket, but on the other end the wicket continued to fall.
Captain Sarfraz Ahmed 9 run and all-rounder Shadab Khan returned to the pavilion without opening an account with the first ball. Faheen Ashraf’s game also ended on a score of 7 runs. Fast bowler Hasan Ali certainly came on the crease and hit three sixes and supported Babar Azam and made a small 30-run partnership.
