Stokes, Rahul, Pandey Break 10 Crore Barriers; Starc, Lynn Fetch 9-Plus

Ben Stokes, KL Rahul and Manish Pandey breached the 10 Crore early into the IPL Player Auction 2018 with the Ben Stokes going to Rajasthan Royals for 12.5 Crore, Rahul to Kings XI Punjab for 11 Crore, and his stalemate Manish Pandey moving to SRH for 11 Crore.

Mitchell Starc 9.4 Crore to KKR, Chris Lynn 9.6 Crore to KKR, Rashid Khan 9 Crore to SRH, Sanju Samson 8 Crore to RR, Kedar Jadhav 7.8 Crore to CSK and Chris Woakes 7.4 Crore to RCB were the other big buys during the IPL Auction.

Let us tell you that eight franchises have already retired 18 players and now all the players who will participate in the auction will compete for 182 venues. In total, 62 caps (played for the country) and 298 uncapped Indian players, 182 foreign caps and 34 uncapped players are going to take part in this second biggest auction going after 2008. Let us say that 36 players including 13 Indians are such, whose base price is 2 crores and they are put in the top bracket.
